Jamaica’s National Under 17 squad starts a new phase in their preparation for the CONCACAF Under 17 World Cup Qualifiers today February 4th.
For the first time the JFF is investing in a full time, all inclusive residential camp which will run for approximately three months.
This is a huge investment by the Federation which will include nutritional support; medical support; training; more practice games and importantly schooling.
The JFF is doing this in order to give these players the best chance of the best representation for the country as well as with the vision that these players are the future of our National Under 20; 23 and Senior teams.
Last week the Federation met with the parents of the players to give them an overview of the plans for the preparation.
The squad will train most days beginning today at the JFF Training Center, UWI 7am and 4pm and will attend classes arranged by the JFF on week-days, 10am – 2pm.
