U-17 Reggae Boyz get physical training

The National Under 17 squad added yet another component to their preparation for the upcoming CONCACAF Under 17 Championship when they begun training at the Jamaica Defence Force gymnasium at Up Park Camp on Tuesday, February 14th.

The sessions at the gym are slated to take place on Tuesday and Thursday of each week and will be held from 6am to 8am. Videos of the team in training doing aerobics and core strengthening exercises can be accessed on the JFF Instagram page instagram.com/jff_football/

On representation by Head Coach, Andrew Edwards, the Jamaica Defence Force agreed to accommodate the players.

The squad continues training and academic sessions on a daily basis.

The squad is stepping up preparations for the upcoming Back to Back Friendlies against the National Under 17 team of Cuba on February 26 and 28. Both of these matches will be played at St. George’s College and the JFF Technical Center, UWI respectively, both at 3pm. Entry is free of cost.
